| The Figueroa Project is a city-sponsored event allowing graffiti artists/muralists an opportunity to express themselves without legal ramifications. This project is massive, spanning several blocks of Figueroa. It begins at the intersection of Ave. 54 and Fig and continues to Ave. 59. The parking lots behind the storefronts are the canvases for this project, and they can be viewed on both sides of the street! This project was the inspiration for this website, as several crews and writers came together to showcase their talents and beautify the landscape of North East LA without conflicts. |
