Mission Statement:
"Northeast Los Angeles will be a safe and attractive
community which preserves and enhances its historic character and natural
environment in order to create a great place for people to live, work, shop and
play as well as allowing native plants and animals to continue to
flourish."

Support the use of the environment as a learning resource
Recreational, safe place
Increase access to and restoration of the Los Angeles River and Arroyo Seco
Community Greening Projects
Community Clean-Ups
Community Gardens
Improve nutrition
Farmers Market Salad Bars in schools
